X-act : the harp is taken apart, mild customizing to make it more airtight and responsive.

X-tra: customized for even more quick response, controlled bending , good for starters on overbending

X-treme: customized with the greatest care to make it very easy to use all possible and desired techniques

All diatonic harps come with a compromised Just Intonation tuning. Please contact me if you want a different tuning. The most well-known tunings like Natural Minor , Country tuning, Paddy Richter etc are offered for free.

Saxony and de Luxe Steel Chromatics are NOT available in 3 set-ups. They all get a complete check-up, regapping/curving the reeds for improved responsiveness. This custom job is included in the price as it is in the webshop.

The Classic and Noble low harps come with the X-act set-up as is described in the details page.
These harps have valves on the holes 1 to 6. Therefore you can’t overblow these holes. But you can blowbend holes 1 to 6 for the so-called missing notes.
On request you can have the X-tra or X-treme set-up. Please email me for this.
